About Us
CUOSA is a not-for-profit organization established in Alberta in 2023 to address gaps in access to basic needs and practical knowledge within the community. The organization is supported by dedicated community leaders, volunteers, and trusted partners who have come together to create a flexible, community-driven network of mobile pantries, outreach initiatives, and educational programs.
Through these efforts, CUOSA Community works to reduce barriers to essential resources and knowledge, ensuring that individuals have equitable opportunities to build stable and connected lives. Guided by a people-centered approach, the organization is committed to meeting individuals where they are and supporting them with respect, compassion, and dignity.
Our Vision
To foster inclusive and resilient communities where all individuals have equitable opportunities to achieve health, financial stability, and overall well-being.
Our Mission
To empower individuals by promoting financial literacy and delivering programs that strengthen leadership, life skills, health awareness, and employment readiness. Through education and community outreach, CUOSA works to reduce barriers, enhance social and economic well-being, and create pathways toward independence and meaningful participation in society.
Our Mandate
CUOSA is committed to strengthening the community well-being by improving social and economic outcomes through accessible education, practical support, and collaborative community initiatives. We aim to empower all individuals and groups with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to build stable, healthy, and independent lives. Our programs focus on Seniors Support by providing outreach, workshops, and community engagement opportunities that help seniors stay informed, connected, and supported while improving access to services and community resources.

The Financial and Tax Literacy Program delivers educational workshops and practical assistance to help individuals build financial knowledge, manage personal finances, understand budgeting, and access tax preparation and filing support while learning how to navigate public services and financial systems.
The Healthy Bites for Healthy Habits Program promotes healthier lifestyles through educational sessions and community activities focused on nutrition, healthy eating, and practical habits that support long-term physical and overall well-being.
We also promote learning opportunities that enhance employment readiness and support pathways toward greater economic stability and independence and mobilize community resources, partnerships, and volunteer engagement to sustain programs that build individual capacity and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.
