    By building financial knowledge and confidence, we help participants improve their financial security and reduce poverty-related stress.

Skills for Success Program:

  • Our Skills for Success Program supports individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or re-entering the workforce.
    Through workshops on resume writing, job interview skills, leadership development, and workplace communication, participants gain tools needed to pursue meaningful employment and sustainable careers.
    This program empowers individuals to break barriers to employment and fosters social and economic inclusion.

RiseUp Youth Camp:

  • CUOSA’s RiseUp Youth Camp provides vulnerable youth with opportunities for personal growth and learning through structured workshops on financial literacy, emotional wellness, cultural awareness, and essential life skills.
    By supporting social-emotional development and practical knowledge, this camp helps youth build a positive identity, develop leadership skills, and contribute to their communities.

 

Wise Minds Seniors Program:

  • The Wise Minds Seniors Program supports older adults in navigating retirement, digital technology, and health literacy.
    Workshops include financial management on fixed incomes, navigating pension or benefit programs, and wellness sessions focused on active aging.
    We foster social inclusion, reduce isolation, and improve the quality of life for seniors through access to resources and learning.

Healthy Bites Program:

  • Healthy Bites promotes nutrition education and sustainable living through hands-on cooking classes, wellness seminars, and community-based workshops.
    This program encourages healthy eating habits, food safety, and environmental responsibility while addressing food insecurity and chronic disease prevention in vulnerable populations.
